Enjoy two bottles of Reynvaan Syrah.  One each of:
2012 In the Rocks Vineyard (Wine Advocate Jeb Dunnuck 96): “The 2012 Syrah In the Rocks, which incorporates 2% Viognier, offers flat-out great notes of lavender, smoked meats, olive, licorice, violets, barbecue smoke and ample dark, plummy fruit. Full-bodied, sexy, voluptuous and seamless, it’s a hedonistic beauty that has classic Syrah characteristics with a slight Walla Walla slant. Give it 2-3 years and drink it through 2027.”
2012 The Unnamed Syrah, In the Rocks Vineyard: (Wine Advocate Jeb Dunnuck 95+): “Another pure, elegant and layered release from Matt Reynvaan, the 2012 The Unnamed Syrah exhibits subtle dark berry fruit, truffle, olive, lavender and smoked meat aromas and flavors in full-bodied, balanced, layered and seamless package. It picks up more classic violet and peppery herb notes with air and fills in beautifully on the mid-palate; nevertheless, it’s the least expressive at the moment aromatically, so give it a few years in the cellar. The blend here is 90% Syrah and 10% Grenache Blanc. Drink now to 2027.”
